Team Dragonfire

Team Dragonfire is the competition team of Family Karate Centres. The team attends competitions both locally and across Ontario and the Great Lake States. Several members have also won world championships in California, Ireland, & Portugal. All Family Karate students are welcome to join Team Dragonfire.

The team has special classes four times per week. The classes focus on what is required to succeed in martial arts competition, but still stay true to the ideals of learning our art.

These classes are both fun and intense. Not only do we have experienced coaches in Renshi John Marshall, Sensei Mike Levy, Sensei Tina Hough, Sempai Scot Bowman and Sempai Cody Diesbourg, we also have guest instructors from time to time, who teach their specialties such as traditional forms, weapons, sparring, and self defences from different martial arts.
